“Poignant, funny and well worth catching!” – San Antonio Chronicle

“His use of language, always deft, is more tautly controlled, more poetic in this play. His comedic skills remain sharp, too. The laughs are ample.” – The San Antonio Express

John Roy Hobson is an ex-Dairy Queen employee turned part-time flight attendant, part-time home accessory maker. In the early war months of Bush regime, his queer eye keenly and comically discerns just where fringes begin and where fringe ability is needed. Fringe takes John from the seeming urban queer uptopia of Chicago to his home-town dystopia of Cedar Springs, TX, and finds him juggling his men, his Mama's illness, and his own misconceptions about his own role in the nation's lower heartland---just below the bible belt.

Note: The Jewish Holiday, Yom Kippur, ends on October 13. If you observe this holiday, please take advantage of alternate opportunities to see the show.
