"Whoring Around: Getting Your Work Out There"

A play isn't really a play until it's onstage -- but how do you get it that far? If you're trying to get a production, you can't just write a good play: you have to write a good letter. We'll practice the fine art of pitching your work to theatres: you'll try boiling down your play into a single line, turning meager credits into a decent sounding bio, and writing lines that engage a literary manager. You'll help encourage the other attendees as they polish their letters and leave with a letter you can feel good about sending out. Open to writers who have already completed a script they want to send out. ** Please Bring pen and paper and a drink/snack.** Come ready for fun! Capacity Limit: 10

"Beginning Songwriting for Musical Theater"

Come with ideas for musicals, if you have one, and we'll work on songwriting individually and collaboratively. Open to all ages and experience levels.
