- Help a Playwright! Participate in post-show feedback sessions at our Plays@Work Staged Readings. (Complimentary admission!)

- Volunteer to Usher! Ushers are a vital part of the theatre's Front of House operations. Approximately 8 -10 volunteer ushers arrive one hour prior to each performance and check in with the House Manager and Head Usher. They are expected to hand out programs, help seat patrons before the show starts, and answer basic questions which patrons have about the theatre. In exchange, ushers can see the performance free of charge and get an inside look at the workings of a professional theatre company. A half-hour orientation provides basic information about the theatre and the current production. Many people love pitching in, whether they're looking to meet other people, or volunteering as a group. Contact the Calderwood Pavilion's House Manager at 617-933-8673 for details & to sign up.
