A series of Theater Offensive community outreach events created by and for Boston's Women of Color.

The first Sistah Insiders event was organised by Judah Dorrington, Amatul Hannan, and Gloria of People to People with Pam Johnson, Shauntinette Patrice, Letta Neely and NYC Drag King Dred Gersant.
The women of People to People organised community receptions and group ticket sales in conjuction with Eve Alpern and Liz Washer of The Theater Offensive, as a way of celebrating the production of Letta Neely's first play HAMARTIA BLUES, directed by Brenda Cotto Escalera. Show Run: May 2 - 18, 2002 at the BCA's Black Box Theater
Our first event drew over 40 women of color to both pre- and post-play receptions, filling the house in heart-felt connection with local playwrite Letta Neely. Shautinette Patrice graciously donated the use of her home for the pre-show meet and greet with Drag King Dred and Letta Neely.
This event was generiously supported by the Boston Women's Fund, People to People and the Theater Offensive.
